I was at comic con this weekend, my first con ever!

I didn’t show off my portfolio or anything I just really wanted to enjoy the con as a fan. I did have it with me in my backpack and a few guys asked to see it, but I chickened out and said I didn’t have it with me.

Man I had a blast meeting and talking to pro’s. Meeting guys I was big fan of and admired. The best was talking to the Indy guys trying to break in just like me. Talking to them and asking about their experiences.

I some how managed to make lot’s of friend and connection. I got a few leads on future job’s. I wasn’t even looking but I guess it was that easy.

i spent most of the day in the artist alley! the work some of these guys was showing off was so great and inspirational. I’ve realized I have a lot of growing to do as and artist and its something I’m actually really excited about.

I can’t wait for the next con and by then I wanna have something really cool to show off and have business cards. I loved going and my experience was so great! It was the most refreshing thing I could have done!

I meet a few guys I already knew from DA, maybe next time I’ll See you there…
