Left Handed inking ex

a follow up to a previous deviation on drawing with your left hand... [link]

the thing i had the most trouble with drawing with my left (non dominant) hand was control. and i figured the best way to test that is inking. here you can totally see where my hand would randomly wiggle or loose control. it was so hard to even do the black fills.

all in all i think this is the best way to learn how to draw with your non dominate hand. it's like when you first learn to write with that grid. tracing might seem easy in theory but it's hard as heck. it's cool starting from scratch all over again and knowing hey if i did it once with my good hand i can do it again.

and oh yeah if you try this and you've done inking befor. don't even think you can do like the lush flicks of the wriest for like the tips of hair or eyes lashes. or control the line weights so easily. i mean i did this using tech pens... but i used then long enough to learn how to cool things with them. but this felt like i was drawing in bitmap with a mouse with no pressure sensitivity. lol

it was a learning experience to say the least!
