how to draw a pin up- 1 of 2

ok here quick tutorial on how to draw an amazing pin up.

for i guy who loves to draw sequential pages and stay away from these... I seem to do a lot of these... helping me out is my character ken, from my web-comic shaolin drunken bum.

this tutorial is kinda putting together the basics i tried to cover before.

i think that first step is the most important!!! it decides everything, if it don't look right or pop out at ya, then theres no point moving on to the next step. after that all you have to do is just draw in the character and make sure he looks like the character your drawing.

turning a drawing too blue line is simple and easy... just full a layer behind the drawing with blue and set the drawing layer to multiply. printing the sketch in blue isn't necessary to but it help clear then up when inking. i like to use the back of the same paper to save paper.

theres are many styles of inking and i'm not gonna get into that here.

next i'll show you guys how i'd go about coloring this pic in.
